Gabrielle Dillon’s Cheesy Skillet Pizza Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 block garlic and herb cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup whole-milk ricotta cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup marinara or pizza sauce
  • 1/2 to 1 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil, plus additional for garnish
  • Crushed red pepper flakes, optional

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°. In a small oven-safe skillet, evenly spread garlic and herb cream cheese. Top with ricotta; sprinkle with Italian seasoning. Sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. Spoon marinara sauce over top evenly. Top with sliced pepperoni and basil.
  2. Bake until cheese is bubbly and melted, and edges are golden brown, 18-22 minutes.
  3. Garnish with additional basil and crushed red pepper flakes, if desired. Serve warm with toasted bread slices, garlic knots, crackers or fresh vegetables.
