Gabrielle Dillon’s Cheesy Skillet Pizza Dip
Ingredients
- 1 block garlic and herb cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup whole-milk ricotta cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup marinara or pizza sauce
- 1/2 to 1 cup sliced pepperoni
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil, plus additional for garnish
- Crushed red pepper flakes, optional
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°. In a small oven-safe skillet, evenly spread garlic and herb cream cheese. Top with ricotta; sprinkle with Italian seasoning. Sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. Spoon marinara sauce over top evenly. Top with sliced pepperoni and basil.
- Bake until cheese is bubbly and melted, and edges are golden brown, 18-22 minutes.
- Garnish with additional basil and crushed red pepper flakes, if desired. Serve warm with toasted bread slices, garlic knots, crackers or fresh vegetables.
