Ingredients
- HOMEMADE RANCH DRESSING:
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons snipped fresh dill
- 2 tablespoons minced chives
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 cup buttermilk
- CHICKEN DIP:
- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1-1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
- 1-1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1-1/2 cups homemade ranch dressing, divided
- 6 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled, divided
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- Toasted French bread baguette slices or tortilla chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°. In a mason jar, add the ranch dressing ingredients. Shake well to combine.
- In a large bowl, add chicken, cream cheese, 3/4 cup mozzarella, 3/4 cup cheddar, 3/4 cup ranch dressing and half the bacon. Toss to combine. Transfer to 12-in. cast iron skillet or oven-safe baking dish. Top with remaining 3/4 cup mozzarella and 3/4 cup cheddar.
- Bake until cheese is bubbly, 10-15 minutes.
- If desired, change oven to broil setting. Broil on high until cheese is golden brown, 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish with remaining ranch and bacon and sprinkle with green onion. Serve with toasted baguette slices or tortilla chips.
