Pepper-Rubbed Red Snapper

Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 4 red snapper fillets (8 ounces each)
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the first seven ingredients. Dip fillets in butter, then rub with spice mixture.
  2. In a large nonstick skillet, cook fillets over medium-high heat until fish just begins to flake easily with a fork, 2-4 minutes on each side.
