Ingredients
- 6 cups sliced peeled tart apples
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- FILLING:
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon milk
- TOPPING:
- 3/4 cup quick-cooking oats
- 2/3 cup all-purpopse-flour
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 5 tablespoons cold butter
Directions
- In a 2-qt. microwave-safe dish, toss the first six ingredients. Microwave, uncovered, on high for 6 minutes, stirring once. In a bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar. Add eggs, flour and milk; mix well. Spread evenly over apples.
- In a bowl, combine the oats, flour, brown sugar and cinnamon. Cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over filling. Microwave, uncovered, on high for 4-1/2 minutes or until apples are tender. rotating dish twice. Serve warm.
