Costco fans, I have another reason for you to love your weekend grocery haul. And for the nonmembers wondering if a Costco membership is worth it, this new dessert might just be the reason I’d say yes. Aside from its fan-favorite Kirkland deals and famous food court, the warehouse’s plethora of desserts is truly unmatched. Cookies, cakes, brownies, pies—you can’t possibly go wrong. The peaches and cream bar cake was one of our favorite summer finds (and we’re still not over it). That’s why we’re always on the lookout for the next great creation. And guess what? It’s here!
Costco’s newest bakery item combines some of its most popular dessert options into a single, easy-to-transport package that’s perfect for the upcoming holidays or cozy fall get-togethers.
What is the new Costco bakery item?
It’s a Dessert Bar Tray, and it’s a thing of dreams. The chain took a handful of its top-ranked bar cakes and made them finger foods. The tray includes four autumnal and wintry flavors: pecan caramel brownie, brookie, wildberry macaroon and Macaroon Madness bars. With eight bars per flavor, that’s a total of 32 dessert bars. That can feed quite the crowd!

With so many flavor options, this dessert tray will empty in no time. I’m a brookie ride-or-die to the end, but I’m quite intrigued by the wildberry macaroons. I’ll have to stop at my local Costco to try ’em for myself!
How long will the new variety pack be available?
We’re hoping this sweet treat tray sticks around through the end of the holidays, but we can never be sure. I would grab a tray now to kick off fall before they all get snatched up. For only $19.99, this dessert is an absolute steal. Even if you don’t have any parties or get-togethers on the horizon, I think it’s safe to say you deserve to treat yourself anyway (just make sure you leave one for me).
